Alex and Max found a lodging on one of the lanes of the so-called Golden Mile about a year ago. A constructivist six-floor building of 1930 in its day was almost entirely bought out: the house was in the demolition list for the sake of new development. But thanks to stubborn resistance of a few dwellers these plans went for a burton – most of the apartments, including this one, were first re-equipped for a dormitory accommodation for builders, and then stood quite idle for a few years.
