This shape was refined during the design phase by swedish Note Design Studio to become SILO – a minimalistic pendant with a distinct industrial character. SILO, with its colour range of white, black, yellow and green, can both step forward in a room and become a dynamic element or step back and blend into its surroundings.

Made entirely from 100% polyester felt, this laundry hamper was made completely by hand from Poland based designer Jolanta Uczarczyk. The hamper is shaped like the silhouette of a shark, right down to the massive white jaws. Due to the hefty construction used on the minimalistic shark hamper, you can use it for more than just dirty laundry. In fact it would be great to use a toy chest in the little one’s bedroom.

Bujang-li House is a minimal home located in Chungcheongnam-do, South Korea, designed by Oh Jongsang. The client wanted to change the old soil house which was constructed by himself without a floor plan of it to a cozy rural house. The only thing he asked for was to build “a not-cold house” since he has lived in a house that was not insulated at all.
The Bujang-Li house is composed of the first floor where the old couple will stay and the second floor for their children visiting them occasionally. The first and second floors are separated so that they should use stairs outside the house.

M is a minimal home located in Tokyo, Japan, designed by Jun Aoki & Associates. The house is located in a residential neighborhood in Tokyo, and sits on the corner of two busy streets. The architects’ focus for this project was to provide privacy and reduce traffic noise in what is considered a larger-than-normal Japanese residence.
Aoki wanted the home to disappear into the backdrop, which resulted in bluish-black plaster as his choice of material for the facade. The texture camouflages nicely with the surface of the road. To reduce noise, Aoki decided to include “buffers” within the home that also filtered in natural sunlight and and air.
