Idea for hallway – THRU-BLOCK Walnut Coat Rack

The wood Thru-Block coat rack is a wall mounted modular system, with a minimalist, contemporary, and sculptural appeal. It is easy to install and can be configured in a wide array of patterns and/or accommodate a variety of spatial conditions. The Thru-Block coat rack set is comprised of nine (9) 1 3/4″ x 1 3/4″ x 18″L wooden blocks with 5 evenly spaced holes drilled through them. The blocks are pegged together with 1″ diameter dowels. The coat rack comes with 18 1″ diameter x 6″ long coat pegs and an easy to install wall mounting system that allows one to mount to either studs or drywall. This is a versatile product that can be used in the home or in commercial spaces (restaurants, bars, schools, hospitals, etc.). This coat rack also features a “key” shelf for storing keys, wallet, cell phone, change, etc.

Minimalist tech home in Mexico city by Jerry Jacobs Design

Architecture only (no furniture) 3 levels home in narrow lot about 33′wide.The integration to the outdoor options were poor, so I brought light from above into the 2 level living room and some landscaping in. The house follows L. Barragan traditions of texture and color, though in our case the color is lavender as the House sits between 2 old Jacaranda trees with lavender flowers. In addition to the structural glass some Tech details include the fireplace and the stairway to the studio on top. Jerry Jacobs Design.

In Mexico City traditional houses are enclosed with tall walls. This follows the Spanish Colonial style of the Palaces build in the Colony.

The fitting’s minimalist shape as the source of the gentle presentation of water. Following the natural movement of water through the architecture takes you on a journey through the series’ different applications. Precise, geometric shapes create a monolithic landscape of chrome and matt black. Water becomes a stimulating element in this technoid-like design, and the water’s surface becomes part of the architecture. Design by Sieger Design. Manufactured for Dorn Bracht.
