FFDesk is a minimalist desk designed by Finland-based designer Frida Forsman. The FFdesk is a comfortable and inspiring working surface with an element of leather that continues through the table and on to the shelf. She found the idea to use leather from a leather-covered chair, made in the 17th century, she saw in the museum Ett Hem.
Old desks with a leather or felt covered writing surface also inspired me. It is possible to work on both sides of the desk, which creates a variable working surface. Things that disturb your concentration can be placed on the shelf where the leather prevents them from falling off. The desk is made of ash and artificial leathers.
