Mast Humidifier by Shin Okada
Mast Humidifier is a minimalist design created by Japanese-based designer Shin Okada. Mast Humidifier is a natural humidifier made out of hinoki (Japanese cypress). Water is absorbed from the hull and diffused into the air through the thinly sliced hinoki mast, giving off a naturally refreshing scent. Moisture is diffused ten times faster than leaving water in a bowl. The design is antimicrobial and rot-resistant.

The client requested to build the home with a music studio, and the architects outfitted the space with acoustic qualities. All of the rooms facing outside obtain the daylight and breeze through the one of the courtyards.
