Tom Fruin, works in Brooklyn, NY. His works are a part of many international museums and collections. This beautiful work illuminating the Brooklyn skyline is artist Tom Fruin’s collection of plexiglass recycled from buildings and projects around New York City. Fruin has created a monumental water tower sculpture, that will not hold water. It is illuminated by the sun during the day and by Ardunio controlled light sequences designed by Ryan Holsopple at night. It is a tribute to the iconic New York water tower and a symbol of the vibrancy of Brooklyn. The Water tower opens June 7th,with daily light shows beginning at dusk and continuing till morning. Situated on the rooftop of 20 Jay Street,the sculpture,can be seen from the parks and streets of Dumbo,the Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridges,FDR Drive and Lower Manhattan.
