Tokyo Table by Loïc Bard
The Tokyo table by Loïc Bard grants a subtle wave of gentleness, low to the ground with rounded edges extending quietly for the magazine compartment below. Pale maple wood finished in natural oil glides gently throughout from table top to the tripod legs. The artist’s inspiration comes after a trip to Japan, “I designed this table while remembering the sober atmosphere, the simplicity of the utensils, and the rustic environment of the tea ceremony.” Handmade of fine craftsmanship out of his Montreal workshop. It’s presence is cool calm and collective, a practical piece provoking balance and relaxation in absolute zen.
