Apartment on Primorski Avenue with a Gulf View
About three years ago Nadezhda and Tatiana exchanged their old apartments for a one-room flat with a gulf view on Primorski Avenue. Previously it belonged to Oksana Agadjanova, a famous designer, who subsequently took the whole redecoration process in her own hands.
Decision was made to make a complete rearrangement: walls in the bigger room were knocked through into a joint hallway + kitchenette, loggias got pulled down, and standard double-glazed pane was replaced with panoramic windows. Cast in cement and polished were the floors, which helped to visually integrate the rooms and extend the living space. In place of a loggia appeared a new working area in the neighborhood of a hammock, which is a favorite resort for relaxing and enjoying the gulf view. As for the kitchen, it was supplemented with a bar and transparent sliding doors.
The hostesses were unwilling to overload the interior with the old stuff, so the entire furniture is brand new. Still left are a few antique statuettes and souvenirs. Elk horns in the entrance hall are used as a key rack, fireplace chimneys work as flower bowls, and a planter is hand-made of plywood and color paper.
