Breeze is a minimal home located in Toyko, Japan, designed by ARTechnic Architects. The architects’ focus was to create a facade that would be completely distinctive from what is perceived as “normal.” Once one slips through the entrance, suddenly he/she is presented with an open space that is in total contrast to the confines of what they had just experienced from the outside.
The effect was to create a space similar to a private beach, enclosed by a soaring rock facade .In this location, the single largest challenge was to consider how to achieve a building that would continue to maintain its appeal and superiority as a high-end rental property. The specifications of the building were also selected with total life cycle costs in mind.
