Bench #5 is a compact bench that can slip into a hallway with ease. The composition is quite unusual as a result of my asymmetrical approach to composition. Bench #5 is presented in Sapele that has been treated with Potassium Dichromate. The result is a dark color that is rich and deep which is identical to the color that can be achieved naturally with years of patina. The white cast concrete is chosen to be in stark contrast to the Sapele. The resulting bench is a sculpture that has endless variation within it.
